Located at 123 South Jackson, the Foster/White Gallery celebrated the month of July with an exhibition of sculpture by Shawn Nordfors and painting by James Mattei. The artists are both BFA graduates from Seattle’s own Cornish College of the Arts. Shawn Nordfors has been granted a Fullbright fellowship to Ghana, Africa for the coming year. Mattei, a native New Yorker, lives in Brooklyn and states; “My painting supports my video work”. Both artists use traditional media as a vehicle to give voice to contemporary issues experienced by artists today.

Enjoy a virtual tour of this exhibit at the end of the digital photo galleries.
